Hello!

I am a cis-gender white, queer woman, born and currently living on the traditional lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit in T'Karonto.

My journey has been one of privilege, and with that, I seek to deconstruct my own colonial ways of thinking and being in this world.

In my work, I seek to learn, listen and actively shift how we engage as individuals and communities.

Throughout my professional life, I have become an explorer of the human experience. Being human is about joy, struggle, sorrow, resilience, contentment, bravery, vulnerability...the list goes on.

I have recognized that we are missing connectedness in our daily lives. Connecting to others, to our work, to our communities and to the Earth. I often wonder how different our lives would be if we sought out this part of our humanity more regularly.

I have had the privilege of being asked to 'hold space' for people along their journeys - I have witnessed their shifts from being guarded to welcoming vulnerability, from feeling burnt out to fueling fires of joy, from being overwhelmed to emboldened.

What I know to be true is that we cannot compartmentalize ourselves, without hiding pieces of who we are.  We are human, with everything that comes with.

About me.

More kind words.

"Working with Julia has been an amazing experience for me and has helped me develop more effective techniques for processing the challenges I face as a graduate student. I came into coaching without any idea of how useful it could be for me but I was excited to explore the opportunity. My openness to the process really allowed me to absorb Julia's insights. Her years of experience helped me make great strides into improving how I go through my program and I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to work with her. She genuinely cared about me and my results on a personal level and I would, without hesitation, recommend this process to anyone!"
